Austin Dog Alliance welcomes the deaf community by offering dog training classes in sign language. We understand and embrace the unique communication needs of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. There will be no need to arrange for a sign language interpreter – our trainer conducts the class in sign language.

Our classes for the deaf community are small in size to ensure that each client receives the individual attention they need. In addition to working on obedience skills, dogs will be taught to alert their owners to household sounds. We believe that dogs can be our companions and be taught to assist us in special ways.
